Our K - 8 Literacy Engagement Programs
Pop-Up Puppet Theatre
(grades K - 3; in-class or family event)
“All the world’s a stage”—and here, students get to design their own. After hearing short
stories or fables, they’ll craft paper puppets and sets, then retell the tale on a custom
tabletop stage. This hands-on experience works beautifully for individual exploration or
as a collaborative family activity.
Dramatic Impact
(grades 4 - 8)
This program enhances skills in both English Language Arts and Social-Emotional
Learning by using theater-based techniques and visual storytelling to deepen
comprehension and engagement. Students practice core skills such as visualizing,
describing, analyzing, predicting, making logical arguments, and citing textual evidence,
while also developing confidence in their own creative voices.
Page To Stage
(all grades)
This program uses live theatre as a dynamic tool for literacy and critical thinking. Each
program features a performance of a short play by our ensemble actors, framed by two
interactive workshops that guide students through a full cycle of engagement: before,
during, and after the performance.
Professional Development
(For educators)
Hands-on, interactive training that equips educators with a toolbox of strategies that
encourage lively student engagement in the ELA classroom, build literacy skills and
enhance social-emotional learning.
