Camp Liberty 2022
About Educational Arts Team’s Camp Liberty
Each summer for over 40 years, EdArts’ Camp Liberty’s tranquil five acres have offered children a green sanctuary within an urban environment. Camp Liberty offers young people an outlet for artistic expression, a safe space to have social interactions and structured activities for recreation. The goal of Camp Liberty is to create a welcoming and safe environment using EdArts techniques grounded in the arts and social emotional learning, to make positive and memorable experiences and in turn nurture personal growth.
Our Camp is located in Liberty State Park, and includes an in-ground swimming pool, softball field, multi-purpose field, handball courts, playground, restrooms, changing areas, covered pavilion and stage.
Campers can choose from an array of activities such as theater, arts & crafts, sports, dance, music, swimming and more.
Many of our highly-trained staff are Camp Liberty alumni and we look forward to you becoming a part of our community!
Campers must be between the ages of 6-15.
Please note, we will have a separate teen cohort with activities geared towards those ages 13-15. They will participate in an array of activities such as theater, arts & crafts, sports, dance, music, swimming and more. Teens can participate in a max of 2 sessions.

Camp Liberty is pleased to announce that we will be able to provide bus transportation for Camp Liberty Summer 2022! Thanks to continued support from Hudson County Schools of Technology, Department of Public Works and the City of Jersey City, we are able to continue providing bus transportation free of charge.
As a licensed Youth Camp in New Jersey, Camp Liberty adheres to the guidelines set forth by the NJ Department of Health. Camp Liberty’s format will be based on these guidelines. As of now, these guidelines have not been announced by the State. Our goal is to provide a safe (physical and emotional) environment that enables our campers to thrive this summer -as we have done for 40+ years- regardless of the State’s guidelines. We will update parents/guardians, as needed, with any additional information.
